Hi Cuties and happy Tuesday,
I like to call it Bluesday cause I'm down in the dumps when I realize how far from Friday I am.
To pick myself up I take a trip over to my favorite website called Freedom for all Americans.
"Freedom for All Americans is the bipartisan campaign to secure full nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ people nationwide."
Just reading from their website makes me feel just a little bit better knowing that they are out there working to make my life better.
They publish a butt load of information concerning the ongoing fight to protect our brothers and sisters and everyone else under the LGBTQ umbrella.
They also have a page that lists all 27 states in this country were there are no explicit laws at all protecting people from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in employment, housing and public accommodations.
Instead of listing them myself I will provide a link so you can see for yourself.
One part that I go to a lot is the Legislative Tracker for Anti-Transgender Legislation.
Anytime I want a boost I look here for the bills that died like AZ SB1046 Biological sex; interscholastic athletics. You can follow the links and read what was proposed and find out who voted on what and how it all ended. In this case they LOST!
If you think there is nothing you can do then you are wrong. They can help you write to your Senators (yes, I did) as well as help you educate yourself and others.
And if you have a couple of coins to rub together, you can always donate.
My favorite method is through Amazon Smile where you can select a charity who will receive a donation from Amazon every time you make a purchase.
Granted it's not a ton of money but as of 09-11-22 I generated $17.29 and all US charities have received $355,928.260.82. (not from me alone).
So now that you know the question becomes:
Have you done anything to further the cause?
If you have, is there more you can do?
Have you spread the word?
If not, then why not?
Or do you think life will be with Ron DeSantis as President?
