NBC News is running a story about a nightclub in Cape Coral Florida called Dixie's Roadhouse.
The club has a sign at the entrance that says "If you are racist, sexist, homophobic, or just a jerk... don't come in".
I guess that doesn't include transgender women.
Piper Ayers and friends went there "to have a little fun" which only lasted until she had to pee.
Security Guards forced Piper out the door after her and a friend tried to explain the situation to no avail.
Dixie's Roadhouse has remained silent in spite of requests for comment on the situation.
State public accommodations laws, which protect against discrimination in public business vary throughout the nation.
Florida does not have a specific law on the books so one must wonder which way they lean.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been openly anti transgender and has worked to erode many of the rights of transgender Floridians.
I'm sure you can tell that I'm not Ron's Number 1 Fan.
