Hi Cuties,
Thank whatever you bow to that it's finally Friday and this week is finally over.
Why so cranky today, you ask?
Nothing specific that I can point a finger to. Just a general feeling of I'm sick and tired of the whole political/social yelling and screaming that passes for discourse in this country.
I mean just take walk through TikTok and YouTube and you are either inundated with click bait crap, staged fights between seniors or some other kind of crap that wastes your time and rots your brain.
At this point the only ones I want to see are the cute dog or cat videos that make me go "awe".
But alas no, I must content with "Orange Man Bad" or "Creepy Uncle Joe" garbage sandwiched in between Matt Walsh's gender war or his outrage for the pole dancing mom or who should play the Little Mermaid and why it can't be a black person (if you apply science) as a fictional character.
Can't we all just call for a time out one day a week? Just to give our brains a rest?
Apparently not today.
The Pew Research Center (no, I'm not making this up) has published a report entitled "How Americans view policy proposals on transgender and gender identity issues, and where such policies exist"
One thing that caught my attention was at the start of this article where they state that only 8% of Americans say they are following news about bills and laws related to transgender. About 68% are not following or not closely at all.
That's struck me that with so much noise in the world about transgender issues from such a small cross section of this country.
Just imagine the noise if something like 20% of American's gave a shit? I guess they are busy watching fake boob reveals and dog videos on TikTok or YouTube.
Go figure.
Try and have a good weekend.
