A Bright New Horizon

Hi Cuties,

Today it is my first full day of being unemployed.  

That's right.  My employer of seven years has let me go.  

Now I'm not going into the details but to put it in a nutshell they found that I didn't fit what the company needed going forward.  In other words they are moving away from remote workers and a Las Vegas to San Diego commute is beyond everyone, even me.

So, unlike most of the conservative world, I think I will put a smile on to face my futures.

While that is going on I have to tell you out there in Las Vegas Land.  I have had it with this cold ass weather.

It's April 5th already and the low today was 37 degrees.  I don't know about you but I'm totally jonesing for the warm embrace of early summer.  At least until it cracks a 100 and then it sweat city for at least 100 days.

But that's Las Vegas for you.  There are only two times when the weather is great and that is spring and fall.  Those days will only add up to about two weeks of great weather so if you are like me you have your short shorts and flip flops standing by.

I'm going to leave you lovely people with a little nugget that I would like to share.
