This is What Killed My Computer

Hi Cuties,

Allow me to introduce you to the Annirose 1808 HD Webcam with Microphone, USB PC Computer Web Cam, AKA, what killed my personal computer.

So I bought this little gem (sic) back on April 3, 2023 for around $20.00 on Amazon.  I figured why not?  Low price, high customer reviews, in fact it was listed as one of the top sellers on Amazon.

So I waited a few days and it finally arrived.

I unboxed it (sorry no video) and plugged it into my aging PC and got a blue screen of death.

So I did what anyone would do.  I unplugged the camera and did a reboot of the computer.  The PC came back to like but when I plugged it in again.  Same results.  Blue screen of death 

Wikipedia says that "The Blue Screen of Death (BSod), officially known as a Stop error.  Blue screen error, fatal error, bugcheck" and so on.

Basically it is indicating that the computer can no longer operate.

So, what to do with a rather expensive paperweight?

I reached out to the seller and they offered a refund of the cost of the webcam.  Holy shit Batman.  Can we buy a new computer for $20.00?

No.  So the best I could do was to post the following review and do my due diligence that no one who reads this blog post will fall victim to this bullshit.
